iLivid malware is a computer infection meant to advance websites of interest to hackers. It often comes in a bundle with SearchQu fake search engine.
The malware integrates same-name toolbar into operating system. The inserted add-on is posed as a solution for managing downloads. In fact, it stands behind redirects promoting websites of suspicious content and blocking quires to legitimate portals for extracting info from the web on keyword search terms.
